Riso prints

Risograph prints are a special type of printing, with each colour printed as a separate layer. My illustrations are all 3 or 4 colours, usually Red Yellow and Blue and occasionally Black ink - this means that any other colours you see (like green!) are actually the other transparent layers sitting on top of each other, and mixing to create the new colour. Riso prints are also all slightly unique as the registration of each layer is never exactly perfect, and they have lovely textures from the way the ink sits and mixes on the page.
